The caterpillars have acquired the services of former Masindi based, Dove FC captain and Bunyoro Province defender Enzama Richard on a permanent 2 year deal. Enzama, a born of Maracha raised in the Bunyoro-Kitara region as his parents sought for work opportunities in the sugarcane factories in Kinyara becomes the 22nd addition to Onduparaka FC.
Enzama, started his footballing career with regional league side Kasoko before joining VCC owned by the son of the late Iddi Amin, Taban Amin. After the disbandment of VCC, Enzama sought to head to Hoima and featured for Boma Young before coming back to his first team, Kasoko. It was then from Kasoko where he joined Dove FC, Captaining the side for the last 18months before signing for the caterpillars.
Asked about his decision to join Onduparaka instead of other clubs, the winger turned right full back, pointed that it has always been his desire to don the caterpillar colours.
It was one of my dreams to play for Onduparaka, it was one of the teams I admired and the fact that it is my home team from Arua and I am a Lugbara from Maracha made me develop the passion of wanting to play for the club.
Enzama Richard will join the rest of the team in camp as the club gets prepared for the forth coming season scheduled for about a month from now.
